Transformer Ultra Wingblade review

This is a re-color of one of the most sought after Transformers Cybertron figures. Wingblade is a movie version of Cybertron WingSaber (SonicBomber in Japan). Like many of the Cybertron toy lines, this toy is full of "extras" that add a lot of value. First of all, the jet-mode and robot mode of this toy look great, although the way the feet are done make it a little hard to pose and have it stand on its own). Also the hands of this toy are a special kind of arrangement so they cannot hold normal weapons like most transformers, but this is alleviated a bit by the fact that this characters guns and swords can plug into holes on the side of the arms, so technically he can still hold his own weapons. In jet mode this figures has pop-open front "wings" which reveal large front mounted cannons with lights and sound. Also both wings have fold open sections which nearly double the length of the wings an prominently feature the wing weapons. This figure can still transform into Sonic Wing Mode if you combine him with Cybertron or Galaxy Force Leader class Optimus Prime (which is why WingSaber was so sought after). You can find the simple instructions online for this transformation and combined with Optimus Prime you have one amazing toy. One thing worth mentioning is that the plastics used in this toy far exceed most Movie toys in terms of quality. This toy doesn't feel fragile at all and the paint and detail work is superb.
